Warranty Policies
Lumina Jewels Warranty & Aftercare Policy
At Lumina Jewels, every piece is created with care, precision, and attention to finish. We want your jewelry to stay beautiful for as long as possible, which is why we provide structured aftercare support for eligible purchases, including defect coverage, first-year finish refresh, and continued plating support after the first year.
This policy applies only to jewelry purchased directly from Lumina Jewels or an authorized Lumina Jewels sales channel.
1. First 30 Days: Quality Assurance Coverage
Your Lumina Jewels order is covered for manufacturing-related issues reported within 30 days from the date of delivery.
If a verified production fault is found during this period, we will arrange a repair or replacement at no cost to you.
Covered issues may include:
-
Faulty clasps or closures
-
Loose stone settings caused by production error
-
Structural defects present at delivery
-
Other workmanship-related faults confirmed by our inspection team
For approved claims within this 30-day period, Lumina Jewels will cover shipping both ways.
This coverage does not include accidental damage, mishandling, impact, scratches, dents, exposure to harsh substances, improper storage, or any repair or alteration done outside Lumina Jewels.
2. First-Year Finish Refresh for 18k Vermeil Pieces
Eligible 18k vermeil jewelry from Lumina Jewels includes one complimentary finish refresh within 12 months from the invoice date.
This service includes:
-
One re-plating service
-
One polishing service
-
A finish refresh to help restore the look of the piece
The first-year finish refresh is available once per eligible item during the 12-month period.
Shipping for First-Year Finish Refresh
For this service, the customer is responsible for sending the product to our service center. Where available, customers may also choose to drop off the item directly.
After the service is completed, Lumina Jewels will cover the return shipping back to the customer.
The usual service time is 7–10 working days from the date the product is received by our service team. Timelines may be longer during festive seasons, high-volume periods, public holidays, or logistics delays.
3. Continued Plating Support After the First Year
After the first 12 months, Lumina Jewels continues to support customers through our long-term plating care service.
This service allows eligible customers to request re-plating for Lumina Jewels pieces whenever they wish to refresh the outer finish of their jewelry.
What This Service Covers
The long-term plating care service covers re-plating only.
It is intended to improve the surface finish of the jewelry and restore its plated appearance. It does not include repairs, replacement of missing parts, stone replacement, resizing, reshaping, or correction of physical damage.
4. Shipping & Service Charges After 12 Months
For plating requests made after the first 12 months, the customer is responsible for shipping charges both ways.
Lumina Jewels may assist with pickup arrangements from the customer’s location, subject to courier service availability. Once the item reaches our service center and the plating work is completed, the product will be shipped back to the customer.
Any applicable shipping charges must be paid by the customer.
Customers are responsible for packing the product securely before handover. Lumina Jewels is not responsible for damage, loss, or transit issues caused by poor or unsafe packaging.

10. Jewelry Care Reminder

Proper care helps preserve the shine, plating, and finish of your jewelry over time.
