Lumina Jewels Buyback Policy

At Lumina Jewels, we believe jewellery should be enjoyed, cared for, and given continued value wherever possible. As part of this commitment, we offer an optional buyback program on eligible Lumina Jewels 18K gold vermeil pieces in the form of store credit.

All buyback requests are subject to inspection and quality approval.

Buyback Credit Value

The buyback value is calculated on the invoice value or the final MRP paid by the customer, whichever is applicable.

Eligible pieces may receive store credit as follows:

Time Since Purchase Store Credit Value
0–6 months 60% of invoice value
6–12 months 40% of invoice value
12–24 months 25% of invoice value
More than 24 months 15% of invoice value

The approved value will be issued as Lumina Jewels store credit.

Eligibility

This policy applies only to eligible Lumina Jewels 18K gold vermeil jewellery purchased through our official website, app, or authorized Lumina Jewels sales channels.

To qualify for buyback:

  • The jewellery must be in good, wearable condition.

  • The original invoice or order confirmation must be provided.

  • The authenticity card, where applicable, must be submitted.

  • The item must not have been repaired, altered, resized, polished, or modified by any third party.

  • The piece must pass Lumina Jewels’ quality check.

Temporary Ineligibility

Items that have received a plating, polish, or color-care service within the last 90 days will not be eligible for buyback during that period.

This condition helps keep the program fair and prevents misuse of the aftercare and buyback services.

Items Not Eligible for Buyback

The following items are not eligible under the Lumina Jewels buyback program:

  • Personalized or customized jewellery

  • Pierced jewellery, including earrings and nose pins

  • Gift cards

  • Clearance, final-sale, or promotional non-returnable items

  • Items damaged beyond wearable condition

  • Products without valid proof of purchase

  • Products altered or serviced by a third party

Shipping Process

Customers are responsible for sending the item to the Lumina Jewels service hub using a trackable courier.

Once received, the item will go through a quality check. If the buyback request is approved, store credit will be issued as per the eligible value.

If the request is rejected after inspection and the customer wants the product returned, return shipping charges of ₹99 will apply.

Lumina Jewels is not responsible for loss, delay, or damage during transit if the product is not packed securely or shipped without tracking.

Store Credit Terms

Approved buyback value will be issued as Lumina Jewels store credit within 5 business working days after the quality check is completed.

Store credit is:

  • Valid for 12 months from the date of issue

  • Non-transferable

  • Non-refundable

  • Not redeemable for cash

  • Usable only on official Lumina Jewels purchase channels

Store credit cannot be exchanged for bank transfer, UPI, cash, or any other form of payment.

Future Product Categories

Lumina Jewels currently focuses on 18K gold vermeil jewellery. If we introduce separate product categories such as solid gold, diamond jewellery, or other fine jewellery collections in the future, separate buyback terms may apply.
